Now seeking a Lecturer in Early Years & Childhood Studies to join on a temporary basis in Warwickshire. The role A Lecturer in Early Years & Childhood Studies to join the team at their campus based in Royal Leamington Spa to support students in achieving their academic and professional goals. Hours: Tuesday (8:30-17:00) and Thursday (8:30-17:00) – 15 hours Contract Duration: ASAP – TBD Pay rate: £20-£30 p/hr You will take responsibility for: * Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons in Early Years and Childhood studies. * Delivering training in Level 2 Early Years and Childhood Studies, T Level Education and Childcare, and Level 1 Health & Social Care (Early Years units). * Supporting and mentoring students to achieve their academic and career aspirations. * Assessing and providing constructive feedback to support student progression. * Ensuring all teaching practices align with curriculum standards and professional guidelines. * Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and curriculum delivery. What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following: * GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English (Grade A-C). * A degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Early Years, Childhood Studies, or a related subject area. * A recognised Teacher Training Qualification and proven teaching experience in the relevant subject area. * Proven experience in the Early Years or Health and Social Care sector. * An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role. Other DESIRABLE skills include: * Experience with curriculum development and delivery in further education. * Familiarity with current trends and challenges in Health and Social Care / Early Years / childcare education.
