The role As a Permanent Secondary Maths Teacher, you will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will take responsibility for:
- Planning and delivering curriculum-aligned Maths lessons
- Preparing students for GCSE Mathematics
- Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting students of varying ability levels
- Maintaining strong classroom routines and behaviour expectations
- Contributing to the Maths department and wider school community
What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have:
- QTS or QTLS
- A degree or strong background in Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience delivering GCSE Maths
- Familiarity with AQA, Edexcel or OCR exam boards
- Ability to support intervention, catch-up or higher-attaining groups
