About the Company
A well-established and growing general haulage business operating across London and the South East is expanding its transport operation and is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join its professional driving team. Specialising in nationwide distribution of palletised goods, this is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking long-term, consistent work.
The Role
- Trunking and RDC-to-RDC deliveries
- Nationwide deliveries across the UK
- No handball – all palletised freight
- Completing all transport and delivery paperwork accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
- Operating in line with DVSA regulations and drivers’ hours legislation
- Providing a professional service to customers and distribution partners
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Good knowledge of UK road networks, especially Greater London and surrounding motorways
- Professional attitude and strong safety awareness
