We are now seeking Computer Science Teachers for permanent opportunities across KS3 and KS4.

The role As a Permanent Secondary Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging Computer Science and ICT lessons, helping students develop digital literacy, programming knowledge and logical thinking. You will take responsibility for:

  • Planning and delivering Computer Science / ICT lessons
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 students across the computing curriculum
  • Supporting GCSE preparation where required
  • Promoting safe and effective use of technology
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Contributing to departmental planning and digital learning initiatives

What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • A degree or relevant background in Computer Science, ICT or digital technologies
  • Experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

  • Experience teaching GCSE Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Python or other text-based programming languages
  • Experience with OCR, AQA or other exam boards
  • Interest in STEM enrichment or digital innovation
