Due to business growth, we are looking to recruit a Payroll & Billing Administrator to join our experienced payroll department.
Your working week will include 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Pay to be discussed at interview stage.
Your role will involve:
- Performing all activities necessary to process weekly and monthly payroll, maintaining related records, collating HR data required by the Finance department and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintenance of the employer pension and HMRC systems, actioning queries as required.
- Investigating and resolving payroll and pension queries.
- Processing new starters/leavers and supporting in the development of employee onboarding and training and development plans.
- Updating internal systems with employee information/documents ensuring compliance with GDPR and preparing reports for business units.
- Supporting the HR team in employee meetings notetaking.
- General coordination and administration to the team, supporting with ad hoc projects as required.
- Balancing & generating of reports.
- Submitting under RTI guidelines.
- Preparing and monitoring annual leave calculations.
- Assisting with auto enrolment & liaising with the pension provider.
- Recording Statutory payments.
- Complying with AOE orders and dealing direct with agencies/authorities.
- Dealing with employees direct on a daily basis via telephone/email.
- Liaising and reporting to directors.
You must be able to demonstrate these key skills:
- At least 1 year’s experience of working within payroll.
- Knowledge of PAYE legislation.
- Sage Cloud 50 Payroll Experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines/targets.
- Ability to work within an office environment.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
