Sales Desk Executive | Northampton| £28,000 + Commission
Are you a driven sales professional looking for your next opportunity?
We're looking for an experienced Sales Desk Executive to join a growing sales team. You'll play a key role in driving new business, supporting existing customers and helping lead the day-to-day operation.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both winning new business and supporting team success.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating new business through outbound sales activity
- Managing inbound enquiries and following up quotations
- Building long-term relationships with customers
- Managing opportunities through Salesforce CRM
- Supporting Business Development Managers with live opportunities
- Supervising and mentoring the local Sales Desk team
- Assisting with onboarding and coaching new team members
- Providing cover for the Sales Desk Manager when required
About You
You'll have:
- Ideally previous Sales experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce advantageous)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- A proactive, resilient and results-driven attitude
