Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience to join a well-established manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical and mechanical assembly of components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Wiring and power supply assembly
- Build wiring looms and cable assemblies.
- Mechanical fitting, including cutting, drilling and tapping
- Assemble mechanical components and cooling systems.
- Carry out testing and self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete relevant production documentation.
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Key Requirements
- Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with wiring looms or cable assemblies.
- Soldering and/or brazing experience.
- Experience working within a production or engineering environment.
- Commute to Rugby easily
