The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Inspector to support the inspection and quality processes within a busy engineering environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Quality Inspector who takes pride in maintaining high standards, ensuring products meet specifications and supporting continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process production and finished products
  • Carry out quality inspections against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Identify defects, non-conformances and support corrective actions
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
  • Support audits and continuous improvement activities

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing or engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
