A growing food business supplying major UK retailers is looking for a Business Account Executive in the Food/FMCG sector.
About the Role
This isn't your typical Account Executive role. This is a genuine opportunity to:
- Get properly involved in accounts
- Challenge the way things are done
- Bring ideas and see them implemented
- Shape part of the commercial function
You’ll be working closely with the Commercial team, supporting key grocery accounts including Tesco and Waitrose, alongside a portfolio of wholesale customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Get under the skin of the accounts quickly
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Bring solutions, not problems
- Support product launches and commercial activity
- Analyse sales data and customer performance
- Prepare reports, presentations and account reviews
- Help streamline and develop areas of the business, particularly within wholesale

Experience Required (Essential)
To be considered, you must have experience within the food or FMCG sector. You will also ideally have:
- Experience supporting or managing retail/national accounts
- Confidence working with sales data, commercial reporting and presentations
Desirable:
- Exposure to major retailers (e.g. Tesco, Waitrose)
- Experience across own label and/or branded products
You may currently be:
- An Account Executive ready for more ownership
- Or working within a larger organisation and looking to step into a more agile, visible role
