Our client is an established and progressive engineering manufacturer currently experiencing continued growth. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their quality team.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. Working closely with production, you'll carry out inspections, maintain quality documentation and support continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production and finished products.
- Carry out inspections against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identify defects and non-conformances.
- Complete quality documentation accurately.
- Support production teams in resolving quality issues.
- Assist with audits and continuous improvement activities.
Key Requirements
- Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Experience with ERP or quality management systems.
- Root cause analysis/problem-solving experience.
