The Role
Our client, is seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the assembly and build of high-quality electrical and mechanical equipment in a clean, professional manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings.
- Electrical wiring and power supply assembly.
- Build and install wiring looms.
- Mechanical assembly including cutting, drilling and tapping.
- Assemble mechanical components and cooling systems.
- Carry out soldering and, where required, brazing.
- Test and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate build documentation.
- Assist with stores, parts kitting and stock duties when required.
- Work collaboratively within the production team while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Electro-Mechanical Assembler or similar.
- Confident reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong electrical assembly and mechanical fitting skills.
- Experience with soldering is essential.
- Able to use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to commute to Rugby easily
