T2M Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business for a Service Manager to lead a small, but specialist team of engineers to service industrial test and measurement equipment. The role will be to provide day-to-day management of the service team as well as technical support to engineers and customers.

Key duties as a Service Manager:

  • Leading the Service Team to deliver exceptional maintenance and service for clients.
  • Liaising with customers to evaluate service requirements and provide technical support.
  • Scheduling and allocating engineers for business requirements.
  • Identify and communicate warranty timeframes.
  • Provide quotes and costings to sales teams.
  • Build expert level knowledge of products.
  • Drive growth of the service team revenues through upselling.
  • Ensuring Engineers have required training and resources to complete work.
  • Attending client sites to provide quotes and servicing.

Requirements to be successful as a Service Manager:

  • Experience in leading teams of engineers to deliver maintenance/servicing.
  • Degree or similar qualifications in engineering discipline.
  • Positive in communicating and presenting to customers.
  • Proven as a service/maintenance engineer with industrial machinery.
  • Strong operational and administrative management skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Confident with IT systems: Office, SAP, and ERP systems.

This will be a hybrid role from the HQ in Warwick, a UK Driving License is essential as there will be travel to client sites when required to meet with customers and support service engineers.
