T2M Resourcing are recruiting for a Head of Hydropower to work for a growing engineering and manufacturing business in the West Midlands. The role will lead the growth and success of hydropower services and projects to customers in the UK. This will include technical consultancy, business development, and project leadership.

Duties:

  • Lead the hydropower division with strategy and project delivery.
  • Complete technical bids and tenders to win new hydropower projects.
  • Act as customer point of contact for the hydropower division.
  • Consult with clients and engineering teams on project requirements.
  • Review quotes, tenders, and bids ahead of submission.
  • Identify hydropower market opportunities and business development plans.
  • Review costs and ensure appropriate quotes are considered in bids/tenders.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of hydropower and generator technology.
  • Proven in leading teams to deliver engineering projects in service, maintenance, and manufacturing.
  • Confident in leading business development, engineering projects, and bids/tenders.
  • Degree in Business Management or Engineering field.
  • Experience in bids and tenders management for engineering/manufacturing sector.
  • Confident in presenting and leading meetings with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Able to build internal relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget.

This role will be hybrid with time spent at the HQ manufacturing and engineering site in the West Midlands. A UK driving licence is essential to travel to other offices and client sites across the UK.
