T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful business services company. This role is initially offered as a 6-month FTC, this is a fulltime role and will require at least 3-days a week working in the office in Gloucester.
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and post prepayments, accruals, depreciation and amortisation, and take full ownership of allocated entities' monthly management accounts and reporting pack submissions.
- Review P&L activity performed by others, seeking justification for variances, and provide detailed Excel analysis as required.
- Maintain balance sheet working files throughout the month-end cycle and deliver accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis.
- Complete Risks and Opportunities reporting, produce balance sheet control files with supporting documentation, and submit commentary.
- Prepare financial year-end audit packs, liaise with auditors, support statutory reporting processes, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement of reporting quality and accuracy.
To be successful in this Management Accountant role, we are seeking the following:
- Ideally a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) however QBE and part qualified will also be considered.
- Previous involvement in management accounts preparation.
- Demonstrable experience of transforming large-volume data sets into meaningful, workable information.
- Ability to thrive within a matrix organisation and finance structure.
- Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.
