T2M Resourcing is currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of an engineering contracting business that provides design, project management, and engineering services. With a global footprint, they work on unique projects across commercial and industrial landscapes with a focus on the power generation sector.

Key duties as an Electrical Design Engineer:

• Designing electrical schematics
• Modelling of electrical systems
• Completing load calculations
• Attending sites for surveys and project meetings
• Working with sales teams on bids and quotations
• Writing documentation and reports

Requirements to be successful as an Electrical Design Engineer:

• Degree level or similar qualification in Engineering
• Similar role experience in electrical design
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principals from low voltage to high voltage (30kv+)
• Professional level knowledge of electrical design software applications – AutoCAD Electrical
• Confident in calculating/modelling for electrical engineering with tools such as, Amtech, ETAP, or Power Factory
• Strong problem solving skills
• Clear communicator with good written and verbal communication

This role will be based from an office location in Manchester, but will include travel to client sites; a full UK Driving License is essential.
