T2M Resourcing are helping our client to build a newly established defence and deep tech consultancy where you’ll get that start up mentality back without the politics and infighting. Due to programme security requirements, this role is open to sole UK nationals only. Candidates must be eligible for or already hold SC clearance.
Tools: Embedded C, C++, Rust. Newcastle onsite (relocation considered) Up to £130K
What will you be doing?
- Leading a pod/squad of 6 developers on a range of embedded systems work, typically in C/C++ and/or Rust in real time and safety critical environments.
- You’ll have broad experience in working with peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN), industrial platforms and comms, as well as modern version control working on a range of defence systems from drones, defence AI and intelligence to command-and-control systems.

- You’ll be a curious leader, with high EQ, who enjoys solving stakeholder problems and a track record of performant pod or squad leadership, ideally with experience in low level embedded in C/C++ and/or Rust.
