Overview
T2M Resourcing are working with a growing manufacturing business who are recruiting a Group Quality Manager to lead strategy and delivery of quality across engineering, production, and supply chain.
As the Group Quality Manager you will work closely with senior leaders in engineering, production, and supply chain to ensure the quality strategy and practices meet the business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a group quality strategy and roadmap
- Deliver quality across production/manufacturing, supply chain, and product development
- Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Controllers
- Manage continuous improvement and implementation projects
- Manage and investigate supplier-based non-conformance
- Train and mentor production teams on quality control and investigations at first phase
- Undertake root cause analysis and quality techniques such as 8D, 5Why, and FMEA
- Support site in achieving and maintaining ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Provide reporting on supplier and production quality issues
What are we looking for?
- Proven strategic quality leader in production/manufacturing environments
- Confident leader of teams and able to communicate across departments
- Expertise in quality engineering practices and techniques – 8D, 5Why, PPAP, APQP, FMEA
- Able to define and draft processes and policies
- Clear verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels of stakeholder/staff
- Experience in achieving ISO standards for manufacturing sites
- Auditor training and qualifications are beneficial
- Commercial and business awareness – how quality impacts and benefits organisations
- Strong problem-solving skills
This role is based in Gloucestershire however will also require some travel in the UK, therefore a UK driving license is essential.
