A Manufacturing Analyst is required for a successful international manufacturing group during an exciting period of change.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis and control of manufacturing plant costs.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis related to manufacturing activities.
  • Ensure robust processes are in place for accurate product costing.
  • Accountable for month-end Inventory processes, including Inventory provision, valuation, adjustments, write-offs, and changes in accordance with UK and US GAAP.
  • Simplify BOMs and update standard costs.
  • Ensure products are correctly priced and costed, supporting routing and item master management.
  • Lead on Inventory counts and liaise with auditors at year end.
  • Build strong relationships with commercial and operational teams to embed Inventory management processes.
  • Prepare analysis of COGs, operational variances, profit margin on orders shipped, and inventory & manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Support actuals performance review, forecasting, budgeting process, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Improve inventory control and reduce inventory write-offs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar finance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally a part qualified or qualified accountant.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Logical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Process-oriented, leads by example, and embraces change.
  • Analytical, able to interpret and manipulate large volumes of data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent appointment, and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK / EU on a permanent full-time basis.
