Health and Social Care Assessor in Wolverhampton and Surrounding Areas | Hybrid working Full Time & Part Time Available | Permanent £27,000 - £30,000 per year + bonus + expenses
- Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Adult Health & Social Care (Senior Carer level or above)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
This role would suit candidates with experience in Adult Care as a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager or an existing Health & Social Care Assessor.
We’re recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners working towards apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings.
- You will support, coach and assess learners, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to successfully complete their programme.
- You will work with learners across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas, combining remote delivery with planned workplace visits.
- You will manage your own diary and workload to meet key performance targets and ensure learner progress.
- No learner sourcing is required - all learners are provided, allowing you to focus on delivery, coaching and assessment.
- This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care.
Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards:
- Support learners with Functional Skills (Maths & English) where required.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment at all times.
Home-based role with planned travel (mileage and expenses paid):
