Health and Social Care Assessor in King's Lynn and surrounding areas. Hybrid working, full-time and part-time available. Permanent position with a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per year plus bonus and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Adult Health & Social Care (Senior Carer level or above)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

This role would suit candidates with experience in Adult Care as a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager or an existing Health & Social Care Assessor.

We’re recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners working towards apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings. You will support, coach and assess learners, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to successfully complete their programme. You will work with learners across King's Lynn and surrounding areas, combining remote delivery with planned workplace visits. You will manage your own diary and workload to meet key performance targets and ensure learner progress. No learner sourcing is required – all learners are provided, allowing you to focus on delivery, coaching and assessment.

This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards
  • Support learners with Functional Skills (Maths & English) where required
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment at all times

Home-based role with planned travel (mileage and expenses paid).
