Health and Social Care Assessor in Plymouth and Surrounding Areas | Hybrid working | Full Time & Part Time Available | Permanent | £27,000 - £30,000 per year + bonus + expenses

Requirements:

  • Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Adult Health & Social Care (Senior Carer level or above)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

This role would suit candidates with experience in Adult Care as a Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager or an existing Health & Social Care Assessor.

Responsibilities:

  • Support learners working towards apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings.
  • Coach and assess learners, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to successfully complete their programme.
  • Work with learners across Plymouth and surrounding areas, combining remote delivery with planned workplace visits.
  • Manage your own diary and workload to meet key performance targets and ensure learner progress.
  • No learner sourcing is required – all learners are provided, allowing you to focus on delivery, coaching and assessment.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills (Maths & English) where required.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment at all times.
