Role Description -

The Site Engineer will oversee and support day-to-day site operations on construction and petrochemical projects in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. Responsibilities include setting out, conducting site surveys, and monitoring progress. The role will involve implementing and checking quality control procedures, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers, and maintaining accurate site records and reports. The Site Engineer will also help identify and resolve technical issues on site, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in site processes. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess sstrong on-site experience in construction or petrochemical environments, with the ability to work safely and effectively.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients, and to produce accurate reports and documentation.
  • Candidates should possess quality control skills, including implementing checks, inspections, and procedures to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
  • Candidates should possess engineering knowledge relevant to site design, setting out, and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Candidates should ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline and have proficiency with surveying instruments and basic CAD or measurement software.
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage time and workload in a fast-paced site environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
