The Role: The Business Development Executive will be working in the Growth and Marketing team. Work will include organising pitches and working with the full agency team that develops the pitch work, managing content for our owned channels (website and LinkedIn), helping with events and overall contributing to the team that generates, develops, and wins new business for the agency. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn from the ground up, working alongside the agency’s most senior leaders. You will be instrumental in generating and developing client relationships by leveraging our AI-powered processes and the WPP Open platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch Support & Coordination: Partner closely with the pitch team to keep the process tightly managed and moving at pace. Conduct deep-dive research into client industries and competitors, coordinate key meetings, and help build visually compelling presentation decks.
  • Social Media Management: Help manage the agency’s LinkedIn and website channels. Curate and schedule a consistent flow of engaging content that spotlights our work, culture, and events.
  • Content & Asset Management: Oversee the internal production pipeline for marketing assets, managing everything from website content and case studies to event collateral.
  • Event Support: Act as a key hands-on contributor to the planning, promotion, and execution of our agency marketing events throughout the year.
  • Team Operations & Communication: Serve as the team lynchpin. Keep communication flowing seamlessly by owning status reports and tracking documents.
  • Pipeline Tracking: Maintain and update our new business database, meticulously logging progress with potential clients to keep our pipeline accurate.
  • Ad-hoc Administration: Tackle essential administrative tasks as they arise to support the smooth, day-to-day running of the agency.
