This is a full-time, on-site Bricklayer role located in the City of Bristol. The Bricklayer will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures such as walls, pathways, and other brick or block-based constructions. Daily tasks will include measuring and aligning brickwork, mixing and applying mortar, operating equipment, and ensuring high-quality, precise craftsmanship. The role requires close collaboration with other team members to meet project timelines effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in bricklaying, blockwork, and stone masonry techniques
- Experience in using tools and equipment related to construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise work
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in varying conditions
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction or masonry are an advantage
