We’re seeking a Sales and Marketing Assistant to help grow both our consultancy services and F0CUS SaaS platform. You’ll support sales, marketing, and business development activities, create product-led content, nurture leads and strengthen client relationships across the infrastructure sector. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly contributes to business growth, raises the profile of F0CUS and enhances TSS’s reputation for expertise, innovation, and forward-thinking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted sales and business development activity, generating high-quality leads and pursuing new opportunities.
- Maintain and manage the opportunity pipeline, including formal and informal leads, to support conversion.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and quotations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategy.
- Maintain CRM records and manage follow-ups, networking events, and client communications.
Marketing Support
- Implement marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with the senior team.
- Create marketing materials, social media content and product-led collateral to promote F0CUS and our consultancy services.
- Support website content updates, including SEO-focused blogs and client case studies.
- Assist with event planning, trade shows and client engagement activities.
- Monitor customer feedback and liaise with clients for testimonials, visuals and case studies.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate, prepare, and review formal bids, tenders and fee proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing and sales activity.
- Support general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and document management.
Skills & Capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with people at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Numerate with analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, WordPress, social media platforms and cloud-based applications (SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Digital marketing skills, including content creation, campaigns and social media management.
- Confident in presentation and design, with the ability to produce engaging marketing materials.
- Charismatic, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to work to agreed targets and schedules.
- Passion for marketing within the infrastructure sector.
- Knowledge of construction, utilities or infrastructure industries.
- Full UK driving licence.
Experience & Qualifications
- Practical experience in marketing, including campaign execution, strategy support and data analysis.
- Experience with social media marketing, email campaigns, content creation and SEO.
- Exposure to market research and competitor analysis.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Previous experience in the infrastructure or utilities sector.
