Your role
As our new Electrical Building Services Design Engineer, you will join our core design team and see cutting-edge projects through all the way from specification to construction and commissioning.
You need to have a strong technical background, and proven experience in a similar role or environment, designing electrical building services systems.
We'll trust you with challenging projects, delivering for exciting high-tech clients you can be really proud of.

- What you'll be doing
- Designing electrical systems including HV and LV Distribution, Lighting, Fire, Structured Cabling and Security systems with support from our experienced senior engineers
- Developing detailed plans and specifications with input from senior engineers as required
- Performing system calculations and selecting equipment based on project requirements
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure design conformance with industry standards and regulations
- Preparing construction documents, including equipment schedules, layout drawings and single-line diagrams
- Managing the electrical aspect of projects from design through construction and commissioning
- What we are looking for
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in building services design
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and industry standards
- Ability to think from first principles to develop elegant, efficient and economical design solutions
- Basic commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Proficiency with electrical design software and associated tools, such as Trimble (Amtech), Dialux / Relux and Excel
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing platforms including Auto CAD, Revit and Bluebeam
- Full UK driving license
