The Opportunity

The Business Support team provides support to our customers and staff throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a pro‑active & enthusiastic individual, who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and is able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to ensure that we deliver a first class service to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Respond to customer, engineer & subcontractor queries by email & telephone to resolution.
  • Arrange engineer & subcontractors attendance at reactive (callout/breakdown) works in conjunction with our customers.
  • Raise purchase orders for ad‑hoc material & subcontractor requirements.
  • Issue assigned tasks to mobile service engineers through the IFS system.
  • Identify and order materials, subcontractor services & plant hire required for upcoming planned maintenance contracts.
  • Prepare quotations and annual maintenance contracts for review & issue to customers using company templates.
  • Collating and checking accuracy of mobile engineer timesheets for costing & payroll purposes.
  • Data entry & updating key business systems (IFS, PeopleHR & Assure H&S).
  • Ordering stationery & PPE.
  • General office admin (e.g. mail, franking, travel booking, scanning etc).

What We Are Looking For

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to plan workload to meet set deadlines.
  • Able to confidently and professionally communicate with all staff at all levels of seniority throughout the business.
  • Previous experience in a similar field services based company is desirable.
  • Able to determine the needs and/or expectations of clients (internal & external), colleagues, key stakeholders, and relevant others in the workplace.
