Overview: The T Rowe Price Fixed Income Investments technology team is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to partner with our business and engineering teams to build out the next generation of cloud-first portfolio management capabilities. This role is designed to act as a partner to engineering and business stakeholders; providing overall product ownership across the Fixed Income organization, with Portfolio Management and related workflows being a significant focus for this role.
As part of the team, you will:
- Build relationships with business stakeholders and representatives across all fixed income asset types.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers to build a product roadmap, ensuring product features align to the long-term strategic needs of stakeholders.
- Work alongside Engineers to develop prototype code that defines complex business logic and domain specific calculation methodologies.
- Understand the holistic needs of stakeholders and propose innovative technology solutions to drive business outcomes.

Core Competencies and Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain relationships with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, Quants and Investment Analysts across the globe.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to understand, develop, and deliver a product business case and roadmap for Fixed Income portfolio management.
- Define, develop and prioritize a product backlog and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
- Work closely with agile technology teams to implement business requirements and automation.
- Identify data quality and integrity issues and provide resolution recommendations after performing in-depth analysis.
- Must be able to independently troubleshoot functional and/or quantitative problems in portfolio analytics.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- 5+ years of related experience in a Business Analyst role.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience working with Portfolio Managers and Trading teams.
- Experience working with portfolio management and trading platforms.
- Systems analysis or experience working with and analyzing data for Front Office functions.
- General knowledge and awareness of macro financial markets and more specifically, the Asset Management industry.
- Solid data analysis skills - SQL database queries, Excel/Access file manipulation, Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Work Flexibility: This position is eligible for hybrid working with up to three days from home per week.
