Responsibilities:
- Reporting to EMEA Payroll Operations Manager based in the UK.
- Processing and reviewing multiple monthly payroll cycles covering UK, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Dubai, Isle of Man, and Spain.
- Ensure employees in all jurisdictions are paid in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with best practices.
- Ensure correct payroll information is sent to payroll providers and checked appropriately ensuring information processed is accurate and correct.
- Work with finance/treasury to ensure monthly funding is sent and in place to ensure employee and relevant tax payments are made on time.
- Assist with reconciliation of the month-end payroll, pension contributions, and Long Term Incentive plans.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries from all EMEA countries and look to resolve in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with payroll providers regionally on year-end documents and ensuring they are delivered to employees on time.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Audit ensuring a smooth process is documented and in place for payroll.
- Assist the EMEA Payroll Operations Manager to ensure payroll process documents are up to date and amended where required.
- Participate in ad hoc project work in relation to new country implementations, system transformations, and payroll processes.
- Assist with improvement of Workday and ADP reporting and design of reconciliation of automated processes.
Qualifications Required:
- Prior experience of processing UK payroll from input to reconciliation.
- Prior experience with EMEA payrolls from input to reconciliation.
- A high proficiency of skill level on Excel, and able to perform data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals across the business.
- Ability to work independently and act with professional judgment for escalation when required.
- Proven multi-tasking abilities and proactive approach.
Desired:
- Experience with ADP Streamline, Celergo, and other local provider systems such as UKG or Cloudpay.
- Experience with APAC payroll processing.
- Experience of working with pension providers.
- Experience of working with ServiceNow.
Work Flexibility: This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
