Role Summary

The Global Sales Analytics & Insights team seeks an intellectually curious, consultative analyst who can turn complex business questions and data into clear insights and practical recommendations. Strategic Analysts develop a strong understanding of the business areas they support—including strategy, market dynamics, priority clients, key initiatives, and performance drivers—and use that context to identify opportunities, risks, and ways to improve execution.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Analyst, Data Analytics will partner with business leaders in the EMEA region to define analytical questions, combine and evaluate internal and external data, and translate findings into decision-ready recommendations. The Senior Analyst will independently lead analytical projects and workstreams, monitor business performance, identify trends and root causes, and communicate what is happening, why it matters, and what actions should be considered. Depending on the business question, this may include advanced analytical techniques such as statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, predictive modeling, or scenario analysis.

The role will also partner closely with Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, Marketing, and data teams to translate recurring business needs into scalable dashboards, reporting, and data products. Work may involve tools such as Alteryx, Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, and external data sources, but success in this role will be measured by the quality and business impact of the insights produced.

A strong candidate will be comfortable working through ambiguity, selecting analytical methods appropriate to the question, building trusted stakeholder relationships, applying sound judgment, and communicating clearly with business audiences. Experience in asset management or financial services is helpful but not required; we will provide support in building the necessary industry and business knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex business issues, identify the questions that matter most, and connect analysis to business strategy and decision-making.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand business priorities, anticipate stakeholder needs, and translate broad objectives into focused analytical work.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and data into clear insights, implications, and recommendations, distinguishing material findings from supporting detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and tailor messages to senior leaders, business partners, and technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, collaborate effectively across functions and levels, and understand differing perspectives and priorities.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, make thoughtful trade-offs, and maintain focus on the work with the greatest business impact.
  • Intellectual curiosity and learning agility, with the ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar business topics, data, tools, and processes and apply that knowledge to new problems.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience.
  • Strong data preparation and transformation skills, with the ability to access, combine, structure, and refine data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, or data preparation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, and Power Query to create reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
  • Expertise in visualization and information design, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, intuitive, and decision-oriented visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence and visualization platforms.
  • Strong process and systems thinking, with the ability to identify root causes, recognize opportunities to simplify or improve existing approaches, and develop scalable solutions to recurring business challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, constructively challenge assumptions, and align stakeholders with differing points of view around a recommended course of action.
  • Self-directed and proactive, with the judgment to independently advance work, identify opportunities or issues, and take ownership from initial problem definition through recommendation and delivery.
