We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join us at our Distribution Centre based in Bridlington. Working alongside the Operations Manager & the management team to ensure the depot operates effectively and with efficiency.
The Position: As Operations Supervisor your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting the Operations Manager to ensure the seamless daily functioning of the site.
- Providing cover for drivers, warehouse, and Trade Counter when staff are absent.
- Supervising site security and cleanliness.
- Ensuring the company's established standards and KPIs are achieved.
- Completing all necessary documentation following Company procedures.
- Supporting with the depot health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring that all drivers adhere to European Union Drivers Rule legislation.
The Person: Experience in operations, with the ability to form, lead, supervise, and inspire a team. Demonstrate a strong understanding of transport and warehousing operations. Possession of a forklift license is a plus, but training can be arranged if necessary. Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently. Hold a HGV Class 2 driving licence (advantageous but not essential). Exceptional customer service skills are a fundamental requirement. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software is beneficial.
