A leading global Chinese automotive manufacturer is currently experiencing rapid growth across the UK and European markets. To support increasing vehicle volumes and strengthen local operations, they are expanding their UK Logistics and Vehicle Operations team.

This position will play a key role in supporting vehicle processing and technical operations at one of the UK's major automotive port facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Logistics, Aftersales, Quality and Technical teams to ensure efficient vehicle processing, strong supplier performance and high operational standards across port operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily PDI, workshop and compound operations at the port
  • Monitor and manage third-party service providers to ensure quality, productivity and operational targets are achieved
  • Provide technical supervision and support for vehicle preparation, inspection and repair activities
  • Support investigation and escalation of vehicle quality concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, health & safety requirements and high-voltage vehicle handling procedures
  • Analyse operational and quality performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular site reviews and performance audits to improve efficiency and vehicle throughput
  • Act as a key liaison between Logistics, Aftersales, Quality and Technical teams
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience within automotive logistics, vehicle processing, port operations, PDI, workshop operations or vehicle distribution environments
  • Strong understanding of vehicle preparation, technical operations and quality processes
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors or third-party service providers
  • Ability to analyse operational data and implement performance improvements
  • Knowledge of EV and high-voltage vehicle operations is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
