Due to expansion, TMC is looking for an experienced Argus Safety Administrator to support our growing Pharmacovigilance team deliver high-quality PV services to our global clinical trial and post-marketing clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a contractor with strong Argus configuration, compliance and system administration skills to make an immediate impact in a collaborative and innovative PV team. This role is suitable for a freelance contract person so you do not necessarily have to be in the UK.
As our Argus Safety Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our safety database is robust, compliant and optimised to support ongoing and new global PV operations. You will:
- Manage Argus user accounts, roles and permission groups
- Configure workflows, code lists, products, licences and dictionaries (MedDRA & WHO-Drug)
- Oversee E2B(R2/R3) gateway performance, error handling & acknowledgements
- Support case processing teams with technical troubleshooting and workflow issues
- Conduct routine system health checks and monitor Argus services
- Maintain validated state through change control, testing & documentation
- Assist with audit readiness, quality checks and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with IT, QA and external vendors during upgrades, patches and maintenance
- Support PV metrics, PSMF updates, and other cross-functional PV activities as needed
The ideal candidate:
- Hands-on Argus Safety System Administration experience
- Strong understanding of PV workflows, ICSR processes and GVP requirements
- Experience with E2B gateways, system configuration, and dictionary management
- Working knowledge of CSV, validation principles and change control
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently in a contractor capacity
- Bonus: experience with clinical database reconciliation, PSMF updates, or signal support
