Help communities across Wales make a lifetime of difference. At Tŷ Hafan, we believe that when a child's life will be short, no family should have to live it alone. Every day, we support children with life-shortening conditions and their families, helping them create precious memories together. The generosity of communities across Wales plays a vital role in making this possible. From schools and sports clubs to community groups, volunteers and dedicated supporters, people come together every day to raise funds that help transform lives.

As Community Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of our community fundraising programme, driving sustainable income growth and ensuring supporters receive an exceptional experience at every stage of their journey. You'll work closely with teams across the charity to identify new opportunities, develop engaging fundraising products and propositions, and build meaningful relationships that inspire long‑term support. Leading a team of regional fundraisers, you'll provide clear direction, motivation and support, helping colleagues to achieve their potential while delivering ambitious fundraising targets. You'll also play a key role within the Income Generation Management Team, contributing ideas, innovation and strategic thinking to help shape our future fundraising success.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, inspiring others and achieving results:

  • Experience of successfully leading and developing a team to achieve ambitious targets.
  • A proven track record of driving income or contribution growth through relationship management, account management, sales or fundraising.
  • The ability to identify opportunities, create innovative solutions and bring new ideas to life.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insight to inform decision‑making.
  • Effective project management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly to include evenings and weekends, or align working hours with supporter activity is essential.

Most importantly, you’ll be excited by the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children and families in Wales.

Our employee benefits include:

  • Holiday entitlement of 30 days (rising to 32 days with service) plus Bank Holidays.
  • Group Personal Pension Scheme with an employer contribution of 5%.
  • Life assurance - death in service benefit.
  • Wellbeing support - employee assistance program, which provides a range of free services including counselling, financial and legal support.
  • Unlimited access to a 24/7 online GP as well as a range of other health experts.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan – claim back the cost for appointments and treatment such as dental, optical or physio.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Technology, mobile phone and will writing schemes.
  • Discounted gym membership and shopping discounts.
  • Hybrid working and when onsite free secured parking.
