Are you an Agricultural Service Technician who lives in Frome, or the wider area? Are you already operating at an advanced level on Tractors or Combines and looking to apply your expertise within a respected and expanding dealership?
Hours: 39 hours a week, Mon- Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri - 08:00-16:00. Additional overtime (paid at time and a half) is available earlier and later should you wish to earn more.
Key Duties will Include:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing tractors, combines, forage harvesters, balers, and telehandlers.
- Conducting advanced fault diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Completing complex repairs.
- Providing first-class technical support and customer service on-site and in the field.
- Maintaining accurate work records and ensuring high standards of safety and presentation.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Significant agricultural engineering experience.
- Confidence in handling modern agricultural machinery (tractors or combines) to a manufacturer-recognised standard.
- A recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Land based engineering or a transferable qualification.
- Strong diagnostic ability across engines, hydraulic and electronic systems.
- A precise, methodical approach and pride in workmanship.
- A customer-first attitude and the ability to work independently in the field.
- A full UK driving licence and currently live in Frome or the surrounding area.
