At Palfinger UK, we’re the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Timber & Recycling Cranes. This is a rare opportunity to join our respected aftersales team, where you’ll become a specialist Service Engineer maintaining and repairing some of the most advanced lifting equipment on the market. Hours: Our field service engineers work 40 hours a week, between our operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday – Friday. Additional overtime is available should you want to earn more.
Key Duties will Include:
- Travelling across Exeter and the surrounding areas delivering on-site support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes, including regular crane servicing.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & software faults on customer sites.
- Performing LOLER inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Providing technical support and training to customers.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Plant Fitter maintaining similar hydraulic lifting equipment such as construction plant, forklifts, agricultural machinery, access equipment or taillifts is required.
- Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar discipline.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
