Are you a qualified and motivated Engineer looking to broaden your skills and take on a new challenge? Do you already have experience working with solar/PV systems and are looking to join an expanding business where your knowledge can bring real benefit? If so, we may have just the opportunity for you. We are recruiting for a Solar Maintenance Engineer to work across a variety of sites within the UK.

40 hours a week
Key Duties Will Include
- This is a hybrid role where the main focus is Solar PV Maintenance and remedials with a mix of some installation work when required.
- To conduct reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance visits. This will involve system testing and fault diagnosis relating to the design, installation, and communication of Domestic and Commercial Solar PV systems.
- To be able to perform Remedials works on PV Systems such as component swaps, replacement inverters and finding & repairing string faults.
The Ideal Applicant
- You will have proven technical understanding of Domestic and small commercial Solar PV Installations, to include generation and export metering, inverters, fault finding and ensuring systems function in accordance with design parameters.
- You will be a Qualified Electrician to ECS Standard having completed Level 3 Apprenticeship and NVQ.
- You will be confident with working at heights and experience with Mobile Elevated Working Platforms
- You will hold an ECS Electrician craft card.
- You will have City and Guilds 2382 – 18th edition Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- You will have BPEC Solar PV Qualification or equivalent.
- PASMA / IPAF training desirable.
