Our depot in Knighton is recruiting for a Garden Machinery Technician to join the Service team. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, this role is responsible for the service and maintenance of garden machinery, including brands such as Husqvarna, Stihl and Kress. Product training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are fully equipped to carry out their new role effectively. Hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Key Duties Will Include:

  • Servicing and maintenance on a diverse range of garden machinery equipment
  • Servicing and maintenance on ATV/UTV
  • Occasional collection and delivery of equipment
  • Maintaining good working practices
  • Other duties related to keeping the department and business running effectively

The Ideal Applicant:

  • Has previous experience of working with, or a keen interest in, garden machinery
  • Has 4 stroke/2 stroke engine knowledge
  • Has some diagnostic experience with small engines
  • Is willing to embrace robotic mower technology
  • Is a team player
  • Is self-motivated and able to adapt to varying seasonal workloads
  • Clean UK Driving Licence is desirable, due to the requirement to carry out collections and deliveries on occasion
