Looking to step into a visible, senior-level finance role where your strategic impact is felt across a number of divisions? If you’re a commercially aware finance professional ready to lead, report, and influence, this opportunity offers depth, influence and progression.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Accountant with 2-5 years of relevant experience to oversee key finance operations, controls, and reporting across some of our busiest divisions.
Hours
Monday – Friday 39 hours per week, worked either:
08:00-16:30 or 08:30-17:00
Key Duties Will Include
You’ll oversee key finance operations, controls, and reporting across the ACDG Divisions.
- Ownership of Divisional P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet performance, including working capital management.
- Maintaining strong financial controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and identify process improvements.
- Lead and manage a team of Credit Controllers.
- Oversee company credit control and invoicing processes.
- Prepare and submit forecasts in a timely manner, working with departments and challenging assumptions.
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs to track business performance.
- Analyse financial performance by identifying risks and opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget, board packs and trading reports
The Ideal Applicant
- A professional accounting qualification, such as qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Demonstrable experience in a finance leadership role
- Ability to balance independent responsibility with collaborative working
- Strong financial modelling, analysis and reporting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on, solutions-led mindset with a commitment to delivering on time and to a high standard
