We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to designated destinations.
• Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and signatures where applicable.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times during deliveries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures.
• Valid driver\’s licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., car licence or specific lorry licence).
• Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy loads is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.00-£25.00 per hour
