The Role We're looking for a motivated and technically curious Radio Communications Technician to join our growing Operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to develop a career in radio communications engineering.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the build, configuration, testing and preparation of communication systems while developing the skills needed to progress into a fully trained Radio Engineer.
You'll play an important role in supporting our Engineering and Project Delivery teams, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities Support Engineering and Project Delivery teams with day-to-day operational activities.
Prepare cables, racks, equipment and radio systems for deployment.
Assist with programming, testing and configuring radio equipment.
Work alongside engineers undertaking installations, maintenance and fault-finding activities.
Support stock, equipment and asset management processes.
Uphold our "Right First Time" approach to quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Good IT and computer literacy skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Interest in electronics, radio communications, telecommunications or networking.
Knowledge of RF, radio or telecommunications systems.
Experience using Microsoft 365 applications.
