THE ROLE My client seeks a TRANSPORT PLANNER to join their busy team in their Oxfordshire office.
You will be involved with doing site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre-application advice, transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans, traffice modelling, junction capacity assessments and more.
THE COMPANY My client is a long established multi-discipline firm of engineering consultants with several UK offices.
THE CANDIDATE You will need to have an appropriate Degree.
You may be Chartered as a Transport Planner or working towards chartered status.
You need experience of doing the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
Some experience required in using industry standard junction modelling programmes.
You may also have some experience of highway design and Road Safety Audits.
Good communication skills are essential to deal directly with clients.
Salary is very negotiable according to you experience but likely to be between £30000 and £45000.
