THE ROLE My client, an established firm of PQS now seeks a QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in SE London. You will work on a range of building projects for residential, mixed use, education and more. They are keen to find an ambitious QS who has been working for a firm of PQS and who is either working towards becoming MRICS qualified or recently chartered. My client offers good ongoing training and a very nice working environment and team. THE COMPANY My client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector and public sectors. They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services. They have two UK offices. THE CANDIDATE You will be a Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a UK firm of PQS. You need to have experience of working on a range of building types. Good experience of JCT contracts. You will need to have two to six years or more experience doing both pre and post contract duties. You should be either working towards chartered status or be recently chartered and able to run your own projects as a project surveyor. You should be able to work as part of a friendly team. You should have a stable work record. You must have excellent English both written and spoken along with good IT skills and have good client facing skills.
