My client seeks a SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER to join their busy team in their Oxfordshire office.
You will be involved with doing site appraisals, feasibility studies, pre-application advice, transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans, traffic modelling, junction capacity assessments and more.
My client is a long established multi-discipline firm of engineering consultants with several UK offices.
You will need to have an appropriate Degree.
You are likely to be fully Chartered as a Transport Planner.
You need experience of doing the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
Experience required in using industry standard junction modelling programmes.
You may also have some experience of highway design and Road Safety Audits.
Good communication skills are essential to deal directly with clients.
You should be able to supervise and mentor less experienced Transport Planners.
Salary is negotiable but likely to be in the range of £40,000 to £60,000 per annum plus there is a good range of benefits including pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking and much more.
