My client, an established firm of PQS, now seeks a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join them in New York, USA. You will work on a range of projects mainly for office fit-outs and office refurbishment projects. They are keen to find an ambitious QS who has been working for a firm of PQS and who is MRICS qualified. My client offers good prospects.
My client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector and public sectors. They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services. They have several offices including in the UK and the USA.
You will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a UK or US firm of PQS. You need to have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or Construction Economics. You need to have experience of working on projects for landlords or occupiers to include office fit-outs and office refurbishments. You need to have good pre-contract Quantity Surveying experience. You should be keen to make a long-term move to the USA unless you are already there. You will need to have 1 to 3 years or more experience post chartership (MRICS qualified). You should be able to work as part of a friendly team. You should have a stable work record with experience gained either in the UK, Ireland or the USA ideally. You must have excellent English both written and spoken along with good IT skills and have good client-facing skills.
Salary is very negotiable plus medical insurance, pension contribution plus RICS fees, bonus etc.
