THE ROLE My client seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them in the North East in the County Durham area.

They work on an interesting range of projects which includes projects both in the public and private sectors.

Projects include hospitals, schools, universities, local authority leisure centres, offices, regeneration etc.

They have clients in both the public and private sectors.

You will be a Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor who is currently working for a UK firm of PQS.

My client would like someone who has around four years or more quantity surveying experience to join them at Senior level so you need to be MRICS qualified.

You will also need to have a recognised UK qualification in Quantity Surveying i. e.

BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar.

You should be able to run your own projects with minimal supervision.

You need to have experience of all pre and post contract work including cost planning, cost estimating, cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering along with financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary is in the region of £40000 to £60000 negotiable plus benefits including professional fees, pension, health cash plan, bonus etc.
