JOB PURPOSE: To increase and maintain affiliate partners for one of the agency’s largest accounts. The Affiliate Manager would be responsible for liaising with affiliate, running affiliate campaigns and reporting to the client and senior management team.

What does the role involve?

  • Develop the affiliate marketing strategy for each client according to the brief.
  • Developing and monitoring affiliate promotions, ensuring campaigns are kept within budget and maximum ROI is achieved.
  • Monitoring/auditing Affiliates to ensure compliance with policies (linking with the PPC team on Brand bidding).
  • Maintaining stimulating relationships with the current affiliates.
  • Reporting for affiliate marketing promotions and activity.
  • Identifying and implementing other opportunities to enhance the affiliate program and acquire new partners to grow the affiliate scheme.
  • Manage the affiliate budget, including commission and budget spend.
  • Keeping affiliates up to date on new products and any program enhancements.
  • Continually motivating affiliates to perform better.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing by agencies and affiliates.
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitors’ affiliate campaigns and promotions.
  • Deliver affiliate marketing reports to senior management.

What are we looking for?

  • A strong digital marketing background with a particular focus on performance marketing.
  • At least 2-3 years’ client services experience, gained within an agency.
  • Fintech experience preferable
  • Proven experience of developing affiliate network relationships.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the UK and international affiliates markets.
  • An understanding of Affiliate related platforms/technologies is desirable (Impact Radius, CJ by Conversant, TradeDoubler).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driven and results-orientated.
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills.
  • Highly numerate.
  • A good understanding of tracking technology.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (an additional language would be a bonus).
