We are looking for an accomplished Service Workshop Controller to lead the day-to-day operation of our workshop and ensure that our team of highly skilled technicians consistently delivers to those expectations.
The Role
As Workshop Controller, you will be at the heart of our Aftersales operation, taking responsibility for the effective flow of work through the workshop and providing clear, confident leadership to our team of technicians.
This is about far more than allocating jobs.
You will set the tempo and standards within the workshop, ensuring that every motor car receives the time, expertise and attention it deserves, while maintaining an efficient and commercially successful operation.
Working closely with our Service Advisors, Parts team and Aftersales management, you will ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal: an exceptional result for every client, every time.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You will:
- Lead, support and motivate a team of skilled technicians, creating an environment where people take pride in producing their very best work.
- Plan and control the daily workshop workload, balancing technician capability, efficiency, productivity and client commitments.
- Allocate work intelligently, ensuring the right technician is assigned to the right task.
- Maintain visibility of every vehicle throughout its workshop journey and proactively manage progress against promised completion times.
- Ensure repairs, servicing and diagnostic work are completed to the exacting technical and quality standards expected of a luxury marque.
