We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bodyshop Estimator to join our busy and successful accident repair centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who has a strong understanding of vehicle repair methods, estimating systems, and insurance processes.
As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will play a key role in managing repair costs, liaising with customers and insurers, and ensuring repairs are accurately assessed and costed.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Liaise with customers, insurers, engineers, and work providers.
- Identify repair methods and required parts.
- Monitor repair progress and manage estimate supplements where required.
- Ensure all estimates meet manufacturer and insurance company standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
- Maintain accurate records using estimating and management systems.
- Support workshop efficiency and productivity targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), or similar role.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair methods and accident damage assessment.
- Experience using estimating platforms such as Audatex or GT Motive
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- ATA VDA accreditation.
- Experience within an insurance-approved accident repair centre.
- Knowledge of EV and hybrid vehicle repair processes.
