At SYTECH, we are on the lookout for a driven Digital Forensic Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work closely with various teams, applying your analytical skills to gather evidence, analyze data, and present your findings in a clear, concise manner. Your expertise will not only aid in solving complex cases but also help shape our proactive strategies in preventing future threats. Responsibilities:
- Conduct examinations using forensic tools including Cellebrite Touch/4PC, Cellebrite Physical Analyser, MSAB XRY, MSAB XAMN, Forensic Tool Kit, Magnet AXIOM, X-Ways, Griffeye Analyse & Semantics 21 LASERi-X.
- Analyse digital evidence from various sources including hard drives, mobile devices, and cloud storage.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and providing actionable recommendations.
- Conduct thorough forensic examination and analysis to recover data and identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to assist in criminal investigations.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Train and mentor junior analysts and technicians in digital forensics methodologies and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (desirable).
- Proven experience in digital forensics, information security, or a related role.
- Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or similar software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCFP, GCFE, or similar are highly desirable.
- Experience in legal procedures and understanding of various regulatory requirements.
- Experience of working with ISO 17025 is desirable.
